There's one thing about engineering degrees that I realized much later in life....  they teach kids the skills necessary to get a good job that pays the bills, but they don't teach kids how to make money.  Engineers need to spend more time on the distasteful business school side of the campus.  And yes, my only regret with CA real estate is I wish I had bought more!
