Drumstick Posted June 5, 2017 Report Posted June 5, 2017 Is a lifting eye usually installed only while mounting a motor? I don't see one under my cowl. Which one is required for an M20c? Spruce is out of stock. We are looking to replace motor mounts and assembling the supplies. Quote
RLCarter Posted June 5, 2017 Report Posted June 5, 2017 It's under the dog house and it's a strap on the case center line bolt Quote

Mooneymite Posted June 5, 2017 Report Posted June 5, 2017 Not a great picture, but you can see the lifting eye just aft of the doghouse support..... Quote

1964-M20E Posted June 5, 2017 Report Posted June 5, 2017 is the dog house support good for lifting the engine? I'm sure it would work but the lifting eyes are usually thicker metal. Just wondering Quote

Dropping an engine from the lift would be a bad thing. 1 Quote
