merrja Posted May 26, 2017 Report Posted May 26, 2017 Hi All, In changing out a servo in the tail today I noticed that the cable that connects it (the forward servo) to the rudder control rod was slightly frayed. It looks like part number # 1890-18.5. any idea where to get one? I sent Mooney an email, any ideas? Thanks, Jim
Yetti Posted May 26, 2017 Report Posted May 26, 2017 Nicro press and some wire http://www.riggingandhardware.com/c-955-nicro-press-sleeves.aspx
merrja Posted May 30, 2017 Author Report Posted May 30, 2017 If anyone ever needs this part or anything else in the assembly I found that Brittan makes it though not in stock. Usually they need some lead time, but as usual were great to deal with. 1
Gary0747 Posted May 31, 2017 Report Posted May 31, 2017 Is there anything in the service manual for proper rigging of these servo cables that drive the rudder? I have found nothing.
HRM Posted May 31, 2017 Report Posted May 31, 2017 Brittain will send you any diagrams, manuals, etc. that you ask for. Just give them a call (or email), they are just incredible folks.

When I spoke to them about the servo on the retractable step I mentioned that my PC was in-op and they offered and emailed manuals and bulletins with in the hour......great group to deal with, more than willing to help
