peevee Posted April 2, 2017 Report Posted April 2, 2017 I'm guessing this should be plugged or attached to something. Any thoughts where? We only have one heater shroud, nothing looks out of place Quote
takair Posted April 2, 2017 Report Posted April 2, 2017 That is the vent for when the heat is off. It allows for cooling of the muffler. Typically there is a piece of scat that vents near the cowl flap, but your year may be different. Probably not a problem the way it is, but you can check the parts catalog. Quote
peevee Posted April 2, 2017 Author Report Posted April 2, 2017 ahhh ok I was worried it was drawing air in from that port into the cabin, if it's just a dump then no big deal. Quote
takair Posted April 2, 2017 Report Posted April 2, 2017 It's kind of like a waste gate for your heater. If not going in the cabin, it goes overboard. The air in the box should be under some pressure, so cowl air should never make it into the cabin. Quote
carusoam Posted April 3, 2017 Report Posted April 3, 2017 What are the two 'bladed' connector looking things dangling in the photo? or am I just seeing thing? Best regards, -a- Quote
