Cabo Lee Posted January 19, 2016 Report Posted January 19, 2016 I have a 1966 M20E and had not flown for several years. My trim wheel was very hard to move ( almost immobile). Working with my A&P/IA, I lube all the joints with new grease and removed the rear access plate. I used a wrench ( on the flat hex part) to gently turn the flat hex part (gently in both direction). The lubrication of the all joints/ trim wheel and turning the hex part resolved my trim wheel issue. I my trim now works great in flight and on the ground. Working with your A&P you may one to give this a try. Quote

Yetti Posted January 19, 2016 Report Posted January 19, 2016 (edited) Where is the drawing? I like pictures.... I noticed that my trim wheel almost spun freely after the heater was blowing on it for awhile.... probably a need to clean a re grease at some point. Edited January 19, 2016 by Yetti Quote
