PALs and Veterans Airlift Command.

PALs (Patient Airlift Services) is incredibly/impressively well organized and run. Mostly North East of the country. Missions are listed by distance, "efficiency" (how much of the distance is mission direct vs repositioning), number of passengers, total weight and pass vs baggage weight, each passenger's weight. All passengers are screened and briefed by the staff so you (or the passenger) rarely get a surprise.

As someone noted earlier, VAC missions favor larger aircraft but you do see the odd one that is good for a Mooney.
