Alan Fox Posted July 4, 2016 Report Posted July 4, 2016 Just did a lot of work on the rudder jackshaft assy , and it seems that the plane wants to go to the left , I have put the shim on the nose stack , and this has helped a lot , Is it possible it needs more shims , or do you think adjusting the wheel to steer more right will do it.... In the air its fine ,
MB65E Posted July 4, 2016 Report Posted July 4, 2016 Morning Alan, Happy 4th! I adjusted mine to finally track straight. The book calls for a bit of right rudder to be rigged in. It could use about 2x more rudder with a static takeoff. See if it tracks straight rolling with No power. Then maybe go after the steering rod end adjustment. -Matt
Alan Fox Posted July 5, 2016 Author Report Posted July 5, 2016 Was the arm to the steering link needed to be adjusted , Did the adjustment as per the manual , and it tracks straight..... WOO HOO !!!!! 2
