Mcstealth Posted December 21, 2014 Report Posted December 21, 2014 Some of you may be interested I think. Ethanol Free 87 octane fuel. In Hondo, TX, I stumbled on a fuel company that trucks in this fuel for the farmers who want it for their equipment that sits for long periods of time. It is only 87 octane but they do treat the batch with a lead free "conditioner" which they say the farmers like. Anyway, thought this was of some interest and if any of you are on the EAA site or Vans AF, you could pass it along.l They also have it available somewhere in Del Rio, TX at an automated, unmanned station. KSMooniac Posted December 21, 2014 Report Posted December 21, 2014 Puregas.org is a good resource for finding corn-free fuel. Sent from my VS985 4G using Tapatalk Quote
Parker_Woodruff Posted December 21, 2014 Report Posted December 21, 2014 It's a shame we can't get anything in Dallas. Quote
MB65E Posted December 21, 2014 Report Posted December 21, 2014 MDH used to have a self serve MO-Gas pump. Not sure is they still do. Makes an airplane with an o-320 sound like a good idea. -Matt Quote
