Hank Posted November 6, 2014 Report Posted November 6, 2014 Any Mooniacs from College Station heading to God's a Country this weekend? I can't offer hangar space, just a chance to visit and absorb cold beverages. AUO should have the temporary tower open. PM your email and I'll forward the NOTAM, it should come out tomorrow, and the FBO IS kind enough to email it to me every week. There's a free bus from AUO to the game for those who fly in, and plenty of tie down space at my new base, 06A, not too far away. Gas is cheaper than AUO also. Quote
rbridges Posted November 6, 2014 Report Posted November 6, 2014 after the pasting the bulldogs got in Jacksonville, college football is dead to me this year. 1 Quote
Hank Posted November 6, 2014 Author Report Posted November 6, 2014 Apparently the Bulldogs joined their fans at the World's Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party before the game, instead of waiting until afterwards . . . Quote

1964-M20E Posted November 6, 2014 Report Posted November 6, 2014 I save myself the agony I do not cheer that hard for any team college or professional. If I am channel surfing I may stop on a game for 5 to 10 minutes see what’s going on and then surf away. Quote
KSMooniac Posted November 7, 2014 Report Posted November 7, 2014 Wish I could make it! Next time...and hopefully we'll be competitive. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk Quote

laytonl Posted November 9, 2014 Report Posted November 9, 2014 We almost pulled it out, but Auburn's luck ran out. Lee Quote
wishboneash Posted November 10, 2014 Report Posted November 10, 2014 The SEC competition is brutal this year. From the time I was at A&M, who would have thought A&M could develop good QBs and have a bad defense? 1 Quote
fantom Posted November 10, 2014 Report Posted November 10, 2014 Saban's pack with the is still working. Quote
KSMooniac Posted November 11, 2014 Report Posted November 11, 2014 The SEC competition is brutal this year. From the time I was at A&M, who would have thought A&M could develop good QBs and have a bad defense? That is the TRUTH! We had 3-4 NFL linebackers & D-linemen on each team for many years, and now we can't find a single great LB. Hopefully that is changing soon... And yes, Saban has some sort of pact. I thought Auburn did with the run of great luck they've had for the last 2 seasons, but that ran out in spectacular fashion on their last snap. 1 Quote
