GaryP1007 Posted October 30, 2014 Report Posted October 30, 2014 Selling my Stratus 1 for $399 if anyone is interested. Works great/like new. Includes everything that came with it. Quote
GaryP1007 Posted November 12, 2014 Author Report Posted November 12, 2014 Am I pricing this too high or is no one interested now that the Stratus II is out? Quote
Guest Mike261 Posted November 12, 2014 Report Posted November 12, 2014 I think it goes hand in hand...I would like either and ive been looking the II. the one is still available as well. when I saw your listing the delta between your unit and a new 1 wasn't enough for me to jump and buy and forget about the II. mike Quote
Alan Fox Posted November 12, 2014 Report Posted November 12, 2014 Ebay it and be done with it.. Quote
rbridges Posted November 13, 2014 Report Posted November 13, 2014 i don't know what used ones are selling for, but brand new ones are $499. maybe it's worth it for some to pay the extra $100 for one with a brand new warranty? Quote

midlifeflyer Posted November 13, 2014 Report Posted November 13, 2014 I bought mine used and have been very happy. If I'm willing to accept the seller's statement that he or she had no trouble with it, a warranty for a sealed item with nothing more to break than an on/off switch unless I drop it, is not worth a 20% of the purchase price (assuming the $499/$100 someone mentioned) to me. N601RX Posted November 13, 2014 Report Posted November 13, 2014 Earlier this year these was $599 new, but the price decreased to $499 over the summer. Go to Ebay and search COMPLETED auctions and you will get a good idea of what they are selling for. Keep in mind ebay will take 10% and paypal another 3%. If you want to sell it somewhere other than Ebay, price it a little below the completed auction price and the buyer will get a good deal and you will end up with more money in your pocket after the sale also. GaryP1007 Posted November 13, 2014 Author Report Posted November 13, 2014 I was just hoping to sell it for whatever the market is for these. The $$'s aren't big enough to jump through a lot of hoops. Thanks for all the responses. Quote
midlifeflyer Posted November 13, 2014 Report Posted November 13, 2014 Kind of surprised no one has picked you up on the offer. Quote
simtech Posted November 13, 2014 Report Posted November 13, 2014 Im actually considering this..Ive been wanting a stratus but I keep getting hung up of wants. The 2 is appealing but a 1 will do the job as I just mainly want it for weather. But then the stby attitude of the 2 would be good. What is making you want to sell it, you get the 2? Quote
carusoam Posted November 14, 2014 Report Posted November 14, 2014 Welcome aboard Simtech, Best regards, -a- Quote
GaryP1007 Posted November 14, 2014 Author Report Posted November 14, 2014 Yes the purchase of the 2 is why it is for sale. Quote
rbridges Posted November 16, 2014 Report Posted November 16, 2014 you may want to place a free ad on barnstormers. Quote
