Looking to move up from my Cherokee and I think a Mooney E or F will fit the mission. Wanting to spend 35K-40K. So if you are trying to get rid of one then please let me know. Thank you.

Which model and year Cherokee?

1966 Cherokee 140/150. Really pretty airplane with a beautiful paint job. Speed mods and doesn't even compare to the other Cherokees I've seen or flown.

There is a pretty sweet 1963 C... Same size as an E... Only $38k...

Really would like an E or F model for the fuel injection and horsepower. Yea I've been watching barnstormers. Flew across the country to look at one and it looked corroded and neglected.

If you only want to spend $35-$40K, your best bet is to look at a C.  E's and F's in that price range are generally close to TBO so you better have an additional $35K set aside for an engine overall.

I have a 1965 M20E with only 200 hours on MOH and I just installed a Garmin 430W.  I fly it fairly reguarly but I have a need for a larger plane right now.  Annual was completed in March 2014 and the exhaust system was overhauled during the annual.  143Kts with 10-11 fuel burn at 25 squared.  It is a nice easy plane to fly.  60K with the Garmin, 53K without.
