John Pursell Posted April 5, 2014 Report Posted April 5, 2014 I get NOTAMS via email from the AMA. Many are not members of AMA. It's one part of the UAS regulations being discussed. John I have flown both model rockets and RC aircraft in my life. How is the average 14 year old kid or adult non pilot for that matter who engages in these hobbies going to know what a TFR is, much less that one is in effect and that he/she is prohibited from taking his or her one pound styrofoam glider out for a spin just because a VIP is in town? What is the enforcement mechanism if the violator does not possess a pilot certificate? I am just curious. Quote
