I have thought about a go-ped in the past for local transportation after flying somewhere. My brother-in-law has one and kind of discouraged me, said it was leaky and smelly, not sure if it was good in a plane baggage compartment. But the propane powered model (pro-ped) certainly looks like an option. I'm going to look into it myself.

Does anybody carry a go-ped scooter in their plane? How does it work?

Thanks, Larry

Don't think I would ever put a propane tank in my plane. How about a regular fold up feet powered bicycle? Can accomplish exercise and travel at no extra cost. Even exceeds the efficiency of our Mooney's. Having just completed running my 36th marathon (26.2 miles), I am all about exercise.

Larry,  you can search some threads here on Mooneyspace.  They made the propane models for a short time and stopped.  Interesting market, looks like not many available, but when people sell, they go for low money.  A little strange, but interesting trend.  No longer available new.

Rocketman, I would be more worried about gas, than a small propane tank.  I like folding bikes, however the wheels are too large and the folded volume is also large.  Would rather have a bike if it had small wheels and folded real tight!
