    This plane has not flown on 2 years (red flag). Florida check for corosion. Get a good prebuy by someone knowledgable. (Avon Park)

    I have 3" my wife made me buy, but they are installed. Are you willing to pay for the removal? I think you can find some. I think I got mine from the factory.

    I have an Eagle and I like the panel better then the O. Check them both out. Its been a great plane, my third Mooney (231, 201, Eagle)

    Thanks for the straight info Bill. It was great to see you guys at Oshkosh this year, I knew that was a sign of good things to come. I know, that Mooney International ( that will take some getting used to) realizes they have a very loyal customer base that has kept the Mooney brand alive, and flies their Mooney banners proudly.     Can't be too many layoffs, there aren't that many people still employed there. I have spoken to people close to the situation and I believe this will be a good thing for us owners.

    Had a rocker arm bolt back out of the head, stopping the valve from opening and closing. Lost the cylinder and made emergency landing. Bolt came through the rocker cover on the ground right after landing causing a big oily mess. Looking back it wasn't so bad but at the time it caused some seat pucker. Glad the rocker cover held until on the ground, it could have been a lot worse.
