  1. +3 for Don. Stand up guy. Positive experience upgrading from 730 to 830.
  2. Responding to some questions about my post, our interior was done 3 or 4 years ago. You need to call for current pricing. We had ours removed during annual shipped to Texas and reinstalled by our shop. I would not recommend that, let Aero do everything you will save time and money in the long run. All panels are covered in leather, or leather- like material. We love it and their work is worth whatever they charge.
  3. Aero Comfort does amazing work. He did our interior a few years ago. These are the seats he did.....
  4. Your comparing Mooney to Cirrus right now. Best I can figure from looking at serial numbers of new planes for sale on Controller Mooney has built fewer than 75 Planes since 2008. Cirrus makes like 300-400 year. They have defined the modern market, with the parachute and composit construction. I wouldn't own one, but as a new pilot or company with enough money to own a new aircraft are you going put your money in a company with such a dubious financial past ( even with a superior product) as opposed to an industry leading company like Cirrus?
  5. I love my Mooney, and the company. But what I hear is it takes less parts, and fewer hours to build and yet the price went up 10%? How many 750k planes can Mooney sell.
  6. We are the same hanger, found it after we purchased a new one..... Duh
  7. Continued leaning and also found a new battery relay. If anyone needs one let me know.
  8. Cleaning out hanger and found a new Shadin fuel transducer left over from our JPI 730 install (we used the factory one installed in the plane, which is the identical unit only encased in metal box). We do not need it so its available $230.00 shipped to lower 48. It is 29k part # 680501-1 calibrated K-29.0 I have no other paperwork with it as it came with 730
  9. We do exactly what Bob S50 does.

  13. Godspeed Mr Wheat. Thank you for everything you have done for the Mooney Family.
  14. 4 passengers leaving on a 680 mile journey, I hope they weren't over gross. I fly a long body, not sure what the useful load is on an F model. I've taken off at gross from an airport at 4000 agl, with shifting gusty winds and the performance was way different than I expected. I will go as far as to say " I was lucky the ground dropped off sharply at the end of the runway"
  15. Sarasota in Lantana FL has always treated me well. Garrett knows what he's doing
  16. That price will get you 2 weeks in a hanger in South Florida. The sun here is brutal. Hanger is a necessity.
  17. I saw that Castle and the Mooney, good eyes. I have the hots for Kate.
  18. Done, thanks for all your hard work.
  19. I just upgraded Transponder to ES and I wanted to do the 88 but it was like 3-4 thousand to install, plus the cost of the unit.
  20. HRM , that's it! You win the free t-shirt. The cord is the same as the one that tethered the NORAD blimp, it's miles long.
  21. just read the first customer built Sonex Jet had a gear up and sustained damage. Hope everyone is alright and the damage is minimal.
  22. Diesel ??
  23. great job. looks like a well laid out plan
  24. Here's the picture
  25. Instructor told me slotted flaps usually have the biggest impact on flight attitude when deployed, sounds a lot like my Mooney. Trim, trim, trim
