  1. Decided to keep the 750 and sell the 650, sorry for the confusion. Item will need to be picked up from my installer next week so shipment might be delayed a few days.
  2. I’m selling a used GTN 650 that was removed for upgrade. Can deliver within a 300 mile radius of SW Michigan or free shipping to lower 48. Unit was removed for upgrade and will come the rack and a new antenna. Price is $8,300. Please PM with questions, scammers need not apply.
  3. I agree with a lot of the above. However, I do feel the bravo and 231are IMO the hardest Mooney aircraft to put a value on. I think this is because of the wide range of prices, values, and maintenance history. The long period of time some have spent on (and off) the market does not help the valuations. @V1VRV2 in the time you have been looking a few mid ‘90’s J’s, 4-5 nice ovations, and a couple bravo aircraft have sold. IMO if you have been tracking these aircraft you would have a very good idea at what price point things are moving. The hardest part of the equation is finding one at the upper range of the price point that has superior equipment and maintenance history.
  4. I think most of the 252’s are in the 750-825 range. This is why the encore upgrade is so sought after...
  5. They’re also on sale right now... @OSUAV8TER has some great deals.
  6. Ironically I was just looking over the picture and thought the same thing as you replied.
  7. I want to be just like Steven when I grow up...
  8. The 115cf bottle is a 15 year replacement bottle with a 5 year hydro (used to be 3 year) schedule. If yours was replaced it should have been recently.
  9. I wonder if they will have to do the certification for a short and long body as well?
  10. Selling a recently overhauled plane is difficult on the financial side. Everyone wants a nicely rebuilt engine but nobody wants to pay for it. I have found this is especially true for Mooney aircraft and the buyers that are searching/kicking tires. I would keep the system installed and find the right buyer. Where have you advertised outside of MS?
  11. I’m surprised they didn’t use the monthly subscription BS that most companies are using now...
  12. If you’re serious about a plane it would probably be better to PM one of the members here who seem to have a good understanding of what to look for. Posting it here can accelerate the process.
  13. I’d keep the 530 or go with a 750. Used you can get one for around 11.5. Used 530w should bring 6.5-7 if it’s a 14/24v unit.
  14. I’ve been looking for a decent deal on a 3/4-1 ton for the past few months. Not much out there. Dirt cheap interest rates and free (down payment) money to everyone has really cut down on inventory. Glad you found the model you were looking for.
  15. Or 40x that amount if the nut falls off and goes in the wrong spot. I’d get it checked out immediately by an insured shop.
  16. I feel the same way about engine monitors. Real pilots should be able to feel which cylinder is running lean No reason to pick apart other systems. Lots of nice gear coming soon to a dealer near you.
  17. Sorry, no help on the MP gauge. However, please tell me you’re launching that torpedo off the wing for good...:)
  18. I most certainly have high cylinder temps if I keep everything full forward. If I come back to 25 squared temps immediately drop to 360 ish and remain healthy for my climb (have not taken it above 14k yet). At that altitude the 25 squared power setting translates to around 65% power according to the stc paperwork. To answer your question I find the climb rate acceptable at my reduced power setting and the turbo maintains that easily to the mid teens. To be honest going forward with a 1 and 4 year old I’m not sure how much time I’m going to spend up there. I’ll probably just use it in the climbs to get to 8-10k keeping the system exercised.
  19. Nice work. This method would work perfect for a g3x as well. Just slide the 275 right...cheaper than a txi, gad43 and g5.
  20. Would you like me to forward the Acclaim POH just in case you need it soon?
  21. Nice, time to finally upgrade my 14 yo Mac Pro... With a TBM, Pitts, and G36 I’ll be all set with the cheap option.
  22. Please put me down for one!
  23. Crap, some of my landing flares start at 200ft agl...
  24. It would be interesting to see if many of the larger Mooney claims over the past couple of years had global as a underwriter. Might explain the jump.
  25. The leading edge on the 98 is more delicate. Looks like the 93 with double the amount of hours. Also have to be careful with overhauls, the blades do not have as many in reserve.
