  1. I ordered a SB kit about 2 weeks ago from LASAR and it was drop shipped to me from Mooney within a week.
  2. Hi Thomas, sorry for the late reply- I do still have them. Let me know if you need them! Terry
  3. Hi Dean! Sorry for the slow response, I met your Dad, Dick, when I bought the airplane from him and the family in Concord, CA. I will send you a PM...but here is a pic of the day we brought it home...I have been enjoying it much these last 6 years. Here is a picture the day my friend and I picked it up (thats me in the middle).
  4. Well, Kudos to Byron @jetdriven. It appears you were right way back when with your initial theory.
  5. Wow, now I've seen (heard) everything. Nice work by ATC to get him stopped.
  6. I think there are plenty of happy 650 users who would disagree with that...Worst ever? Did you forget about the KSN770?
  7. Absolutely not, and obviously a mechanic's mistake's can have faster/more devastating consequences- but statistics prove pilot's mistakes kill way more people than a mechanic's.
  8. Fixed it for you...
  9. Ruthie is awesome! I have ordered lots of bladders parts from Griggs and she is so helpful! Also, FYI the installed weight of the 54 gallon kit is 29.7 pounds..
  10. Nice work Seth!
  11. Great news, thanks Sanjeev! Just sent you an email.
  12. Norm @Little Dipper, not sure if you're aware but SureFlight at KMQS (that does your avionics) also does fantastic interior work!
  13. How much for the old man's Cadillac?
  14. No way could the cowling have made that deep of a crater, this definitely happened with the prop in motion...I fear the worst for that prop blade
  15. They trap moisture...or they did in this case. The bladders sit in between those frames.
  16. Gus-Here is an example of how bladders can trap moisture and thus cause corrosion...and this is coming from a Mooney guy who put bladders in his airplane (me). This was a twin otter I used to maintain, we had to re-skin the entire belly of the airplane. There are 8 bladders in different sections-not an M20 but the concept is identical. I have heard of other DHC-6 with similiar issues as well. Like I said, I am a Mooney Bladder Fan, but what Jose is saying has some truth to it...
  17. the system is around 10-12k, not installed.
  18. On the heels of its announcement earlier this month at Sun ’nā€˜ Fun of the xVue Touch primary flight display (PFD) for the experimental market,
  19. Hunter, It looks to me like that EGT system was installed at the Factory via Supplemental Type Certificate (STC), so No, it won't be on the TCDS. However in order to remove it correctly, another 337 should be completed to remove the STC (and therefore the gauge) from the airplane.
  20. Great putting some faces to (user)names. Thanks Brian & Pankey for hosting an awesome event! I hope next year I can stick around a bit longer.
  21. I will do my best to bring myself and the dog.
  22. What is the latest improvements on the cowling to help with CHTS? I thought that the last few fuel injected projects were having cooling problems...has this been addressed with the new 'gen2' ?
  23. They want the full $11k up front, and that covers everything.
  24. I get emails from Trio once every so often asking for 40-50 Mooney owners to sign up so they can add the STC to for the Mooney. They want $11k all in. If you ask me that price point is way too high to ask for volunteers. I am looking at the Trr Trak system, $5000 plus installation.
