Absolutely well done! Im proud to be one of the 4 founding charter members of this brotherhood of aviators & friends! Only wish I could form fly with you all more often!     Prayers for his son & family. Sorry I Just saw the post. I knew Houman only briefly, met & spent some time with him in person at the Mooney Carvan to Oshkosh. Several email & Mooneyspace exchanges and a couple phone conversations where I shared my Rocket information. As posted earlier Houman seemed genuinely passionate about learning all he could about flying and his Rocket he shared intrest in. I pray his son recovers completely and quickly.

    I guess I'm a lone sole here. I have the GTN750 & 650 in concert with G500 with SVT. I then back up with FlyQ and Clarity SV & separate battery packs. FlyQ purchase with lifetime subscription for all plates & charts under $400. Seattle Avionics just offered a lifetime subscription to Aspen & all other databases they provide charts for... Not sure how they can afford to do that but they did.... Wish Garmin would offer a deal like that... Fly safe all

    Rocket, there are lots of Angel flight requests from EP to HOU, this would be a great oppertunity for you and I to join up for a flight! I bring to You, you take to HOU! Now all we need to to work out a way to get in some Texas Wing Formation flying in...... ponder!!!

    Rocket, I ve done Angel flights, in fact the time we meet in Fredricskburg and you met Dianna Stangler in her Jet (who is the upcoming President of Angel Flight that you signed up for) I was on an Angel flight to have a young toddler put into one of those head helmets. Flew he and his mom to San Antinio and stayed with Sandman.... met you etc. Your C will do just fine, expecially with one passenger and 2 if weight is in line. Absoulty great thing to do...'     i have featheredmy prop on the ground when shutting down once. No issues at all. When restart prop returned to normal... 150 hrs since no problem.

    I saw a polished Mooney in Midland TX a couple months back.... first and only I had ever seen. Nice looking plane.

    Just received one of those never ending AOPA emails! I looked then looked again... Surprise I see a friend of mine Keith and looking closer I see my ol mug...... so I guess you never know what you'll see in one of those AOPA email!! Also in this photo is Keith... aka Flynnupe94 a great guy but not much help polishing the ol bucket of bolts... unless you count.. "you missed a spot there & there & there.... lol I understand Flynnupe94 now has a Rocket as well.... he is a quick learner!

    Well done Oscar. Great videos. How / where do you mount the camera under your plane? Been thinking of trying that. Concerned with oil / exhaust covering lens.

    Jim I would sure check it out. What if a bug or something is lodging in the system and the IAS comes and goes... just when you need it most.... I am quite sure you being a professional pilot and all would be able to fly the plane without the IAS but for me I would check it.... Fly safe

    Chuck PM me there is a Chuck in Deer Valley and 3 other Mooniacs in your area I know of. I usually get into the area every couple months as well. Good luck.

    I have one that displays graphics as well as fuel consumption. PM me if you want me to email it to you. Disclaimer you will want to confirm the arms etc for your Mooney.

    Flew a boat load of hours behind Sandel 3500 in my Saratoga, in its day it was top of the line.... well at least as much as I could afford in that day! The only thing I was unhappy with was the upgrade, repair back light costs.... WOW!
