Looking for an A&P/IA to annual my Mooney at my hangar...

Hello, all -

 

My bird is out of annual, and I would like to get the inspection done without flying it to an IA. (Our local mech says he does not know Mooneys well enough to feel comfortable doing it.)

 

Does anyone know of an A&P/IA in the Atlanta area who would be willing to drive out to Villa Rica to do one in my T-hangar?

 

I understand it would be three or four visits, but I can certainly assist.

Don't know one but maybe you can get a ferry permit to bring it to an airport with an A&P.  H&L at KRYY does my annual inspections.  Also Cole Aviation at KRMG is an MSC and does very good work.

My guy at PDK, Mark Clowdus, does his work out of a big old truck and he certainly COULD do it, but whether or not he'd be willing to drive to Villa Rica is a different question. He's got plenty of work as it is, so it would only be if he had a soft spot in his schedule.  But if you want his number send me a PM and I'll give it to you...don't want to brandish it on the Interweb.
