They were tied down, but broke free. See the current Metar below. N6784N Posted March 13, 2010 Report Posted March 13, 2010 Friday I was actually thinking of flying home in this from newport news va to laurel maryland. glad I didnt try it. btw I landed a c152 winds were 30 degrees off runway 34 gusting to 40 something years ago. it actually worked out to be a descent landing.
