Cessna738 Posted November 8 Report Posted November 8 (edited) Hello, My POH has a never exceed operating speed of 100 mph for flaps. But, for takeoff and climb it has a max speed of 150. How does this jibe? Thanks. , Edited November 8 by Cessna738
takair Posted November 8 Report Posted November 8 It does not jibe. Where are you seeing this in the manual? Cowl flap is 150 and would be called out for takeoff and climb but wing flap is always 100. 1
Shadrach Posted November 8 Report Posted November 8 Rather short operator’s manual associated with the 1965 M20E. The only 150 mph reference I find it for Maximum Structural Cruising Speed.
Immelman Posted November 8 Report Posted November 8 1966 E here. Cowl flaps are placarded to be closed @ 150mph. Could that be the confusion? Max flap extension speed (top of white arc) most definitely tops out at 100mph. 1
