Hello,

My POH has a never exceed operating speed of 100 mph for flaps. But, for takeoff and climb it has a max speed of 150. How does this jibe?

Thanks.

It does not jibe.  Where are you seeing this in the manual?  Cowl flap is 150 and would be called out for takeoff and climb but wing flap is always 100.

Rather short operator’s manual associated with the 1965 M20E. The only 150 mph reference I find it for Maximum Structural Cruising Speed.

1966 E here. Cowl flaps are placarded to be closed @ 150mph. Could that be the confusion? Max flap extension speed (top of white arc) most definitely tops out at 100mph.
