finnicky7 Posted September 27 Report Posted September 27 (edited) I’ve loved Mooneys ever since I did my commercial in J model 25 years ago finally pulled the trigger and bought The airplane was based HWY, 1962 M20C. Needs some love but she’s solid. Little bit about me: I was aircraft controller for 22 years. I’m currently an accident/incident investigator in DC area . I’m also a CFII and fly a lot! Thank you for having a great space to learn! Edited September 28 by finnicky7 7 Quote
AJ88V Posted September 27 Report Posted September 27 Nice! Right down the street from you in Culpeper! Good panel and paint. Interior is probably the cheapest upgrade. Like the manual retractable step. Thought about adding that. Welcome aboard! Quote

In your initial post you said the plane WAS based at HWY, so I thought you had moved it elsewhere. That's a tough part of the country to find hangar space. Did you get a hangar at HWY when you purchased the plane? Quote

Flyler Posted September 28 Report Posted September 28 What a great buy! It will be like a new plane once you finish up the interior. I love that panel too. Quote
Jerry 5TJ Posted September 28 Report Posted September 28 Looks sharp! You might want to inspect the landing gear downlock block for wear. It looks original in your photos. Quote
