Trickle charge breakers?

Hi All,

When checking my batteries recently, I spent some time in the tailcone (yeah, no friends, I know...) and noticed this:

On the main schematic from the POH, it shows three 10A slow-blow fuses corresponding to the trickle-charge circuits.

Was there a revision where these are breakers instead? The bundles were tightly-wrapped, so hard to trace, but potentially ran to the appropriate side of the battery contactor solenoids... I also didn't find any inline fuse holders.

Any advice appreciated. Not super-worried as the batteries do seem to trickle-charge (and I try to alternate battery usage), but would like to understand better.

Thank you,
David

A lot of the POH on the Acclaim was cut and paste from the Bravo. Years ago there was a service bulletin on the Ovation and Bravo to modify the charging circuit. That service bulletin M20-275 used slo-blo inline fuses. (https://www.mooney.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/12/SBM20-275.pdf)

The Acclaim thankfully uses circuit breakers so at a glance back there you can see if something has blown. In addition to the ones on the picture there are also a couple of circuit breakers on the bulkhead of the empennage - one for the 12 v cigarette lighter sockets and maybe the other one is for the baggage light.

Casperpedia for the win! Thank you.

The "revised" circuit in that SB corresponds to what I see in the POH (with the 3 inline fuses). The breakers and placement are much better, thank you for confirming that!
