I did the same in early 2022, still waiting.

I have asked before and everyone said that they would eventually contact me, but I have sort of given up.

MAPA Safety Foundation is still around and is still putting on PPPs.

But it seems like whenever anyone asks about MAPA, radio silence.

Went to their website, completed and mailed in a membership, no response from email and phone number out of service...

It really hasn't been around for years in reality.

I joined back in 1993 when I bought a used 231 and it was great - the magazine was relevant for the time period and the MAPA homecoming every fall was excellent. They had workshops for different models of Mooney that were moderated by experienced owners and gurus. I learned so much in those seminars.

The last homecoming I went to was in 2017 and it was OK but just a shadow of what it had been. The last few years of the magazine had just been re-hashed. When I moved up the Texas Hill Country at the end of 2016 I inquired about buying it and trying to bring it back to life. I got no response. So instead of getting something for it they let it die a slow painful death.

You go to their website and you would thing that it's still up and running, hear they have some good reference materials that you can only get as a member.

Not much anymore, some old magazines and no updates in a year. TheMooneyFlyer.com will give you better insight right now…

Sent an email and left a voicemail over a week ago. Radio silence. I assume they're done.
