I don't have one I can afford to get rid of, but the one you have (assuming you have one that is not working) you can probably get it repaired.

If you're going to send a servo off to Bendix King for an overhaul it will be enormously less money to buy a used one that was taken out for an autopilot replacement. The last I heard a Bendix King overhaul on a servo was around $7000. I see used ones all over the place for $500 each, sometimes $1000 for the whol system that came out.

If you're going to keep a KFC150, not a bad idea to stock up on at least one extra of each of the servos at bargain pricing.

I would not recommend sending it to BK.   go to autopilotscentral.com and have them repair it.

But yeah, just buying and stocking a set of spares would be a pretty good idea too.  :)

If anyone else needs one, or any other KAP-150 parts I have them from my plane.  And avionics shop will tag.
