1970 M20F upper cabin door latch

I have a 1970 M20F and the mounting plate that holds the upper cabin door striker bolt is broken.  It's part #53 in the attached parts diagram and the part number is 340124-919.

I cannot find this part anywhere.  If anyone has any recommendations, please share.

Contact a MSC, or do an owner produced part

One of the salvage outfits or an Owner Produced Part may be the best route.    The factory may be able to make one, but it'll probably be $$ and a long wait.
