tgardnerh Posted October 8, 2022 Report Posted October 8, 2022 Yesterday I talked to a home-health oxygen delivery person in the SLC area and learned that the no-insurance for a regulator, several D+E tanks and unlimited refills (delivered) is $30/month. An unlimited complete oxygen solution for significantly less cost than a Garmin database subscription! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I refill mine for less than that. 1
A64Pilot Posted October 8, 2022 Report Posted October 8, 2022 Be sure your reg will connect to a medical tank, they have some weird connection
jaylw314 Posted October 8, 2022 Report Posted October 8, 2022 LOL, I wonder if you could use medical tanks to transfill an installed O2 tank
ilovecornfields Posted October 9, 2022 Report Posted October 9, 2022 $360/year is about 6 times what I spend with my O2D2. I remember my father had his doctor write him a prescription for” hypobaric hypoxemia.” Shouldn’t be that hard to get. 1

But if they are the typical smallish home tanks to people can move around easily, you won't get much of a fill
jaylw314 Posted October 9, 2022 Report Posted October 9, 2022 Ha, I was thinking more of signing up for one month and then going through 20 D size cylinders to fill up one tank

Probably do need a scrip, last time I needed one I had my wife write me one. No need for a specific medical condition to be listed unless you want insurance to pay. (Mine just said "up to 6 liters per minute per nasal cannula as needed")Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
