G1000 Cycle Updates

I just purchased an Ovation with a G1000.  Trying to update the nav data etc. and I can't seem to do it correctly.  Does anyone know if there is a step by step process anywhere.

 

I have downloaded current cycle data to SD cards but can't seem to get the G1000 to accept the update.
