KY 196 not going all the way to 136.00

Had a funny thing happen yesterday upon landing at the new airport outside of Mexico City. After being handed off to Ground on 121.9, I was told to switch to "Ramp Frequency" on 136.0. My KY 196's only go to 135.97. I'm installing a factory refurbished SL30 this week which, according to the manual, goes to 136.0. 

Is this just a quirk of my KY 196's or is the airport doing something strange?

US does not allocate 136.0, going only to 135.975,  but some foreign countries do use it.

Interesting. Would most 8.33khz spaced radios then go all the way to 136?

Canamex is currently in Mexico… and needed this frequency.  unavailable to most…

My Yaesu hand held transceiver will do 136.00. Would not have checked it if it wasn’t for this thread.
