GeneralT001 Posted February 7, 2022 Report Posted February 7, 2022 I kinda like to know just how much turbulence the aircraft endures...as well the occasional closed pattern when the mood strikes The scale here is ideal for the Mooney G-Limits. I saw one website that shows them...but lists the price as $2 so probably not carrying them. They seem to be a hard item to find. Not really interested in a digital type...would just like to stay old school analog. Quote
donkaye Posted February 7, 2022 Report Posted February 7, 2022 One of the nice new features of the G500TXi is a G-Meter to the left of the Airspeed Tape. It works great, but getting it is a little bit more expensive than a separate meter. Quote

Very nice setup BTW Quote
GeneralT001 Posted February 7, 2022 Author Report Posted February 7, 2022 (edited) Also, one of the things i've noticed on some of the Mooney models is that the Flap and Elev Trim indicators are up around eye level (like in yours above)....kinda like that as well as opposed to being pretty much on the floor... I'm wondering if they can be moved when I redo the panel in the M20J? Edited February 7, 2022 by GeneralT001 Quote

carusoam Posted February 7, 2022 Report Posted February 7, 2022 Not really popular in the Mooney world… But, if somebody is going to have seen one for sale… For pre-flown instruments… Find Alan…. @Alan Fox there have been a few Mooney flights that we would love to know how many Gs they endured… and didn’t. Joshua Blackh4t Posted February 7, 2022 Report Posted February 7, 2022 The Aera 660 has it. In synthetic vision mode it has a built in g meter that comes up when it goes over a preset amount 1 Quote
