You don't say what year model your 201 is (this matters), but it sounds like you're looking for the engraved plastic cover that snaps on to the Klixon breaker switches installed in Mooneys in the mid-60s to late 70s.

The bad news is, you simply can't buy just a new, engraved switch cover.  These are effectively Mooney-specific parts, and the factory doesn't offer them for sale.  The factory might be able to sell you a whole switch (not just the plastic cover) for a hefty price.  But they may not have any in stock.  It seems that any time someone looks into it, the factory says they are simply not in a position to make a bulk order from Klixon (Sensata) for these parts.

Your options are to search the salvage yards (Wentworth, Beegles, etc.) for a donor part from a totaled aircraft, or engage with one of the several enterprising Mooneyspacers who have developed 3D-printed replacements.  There is a lengthy thread about that here:

Hi, I am looking for Mooney 201 Switch Nav Light. My switch is not bad. I am just looking for the front on/off toggle button. Where can I buy that?

The later model 201's (I can't remember which year they switched) changed to ETA switches.  A little easier to find in salvage but still hard.  Make double sure you know which one you have.  The ETA switches USUALLY have opaque white, the Klixon are kind of translucent.  You can order 3D printed (nylon) ETA switch covers at Shapeways for $5.50.  Takes a little prep work but turns out good

Brief history on the switch covers…

There are two manufacturers of switches for Mooneys…

One is the most common…

The manufacturer feels that when the switch cover snaps and falls off… you should send them and their sales people a big check… for a replacement switch…

Since the switch is effortful to get out, and put back in… you now a have a new switch, sitting on the shelf so you could snap the cover off of it…

Having typed all that… what’s next…

Find the guy that has masterfully set up his 3D printer around here… and see if he has any on the shelf…

PP thoughts only, not a switch manufacturer…

Best regards,
