Update surefly has the new 28v voltage regulator surefly in stock now. Just ordered one shipped to dugosh $2081 to finish up my annual with. I hate to be the  Guinea pig but someone has to be the first and i didn’t want anymore weight up front with a big capacitor if i could help it. Will let you know how it works once i get it back from annual. Shooting for 1 oct hopefully before a&p goes on vacation in oct.

Good to hear, but they have been shipping the updated 4 cyl version with the built-in power regulator for awhile so shouldn't be any surprised in the 6 cyl sim.

With your 252, if you have the dual alternator version, I think you'll find it will only fit on the the right side which I preferred anyway since I have the JPI RPM magneto pickup installed on the left Mag plus the left mag is easier to R&R than my right one. But I still had to change the mounting hardware to get the Surefly to fit on the right side because the case is bigger with less clearance.  You'll like it.
