Need a new AME in NYC

I went to call my AME to discuss a potential complication to my medical this year, hoping to schedule a consult to talk about it well in advance of the medical.

Turns out he has retired!

Does anyone recommend an AME in NYC, especially one that is willing to have a consult and talk about a situation that I worry might be sticky (or it could be nothing, but I'm sort of worried about it).

See if @201er is around…  he is an NYC guy… and might know of an AME…

Not far away… 39N in NJ has an AME day every now and then… he sets up an office at the airport for that…

this ad is a bit old, but there is another one coming up….

+1 for not putting off the doc… some meds are actually on the FAA’s OK to fly with…  better to have the meds, then to live life on the edge…

I am not sure where in NYC you are, but I did my medical in Morristown airport in New Jersey (kmmu). There is a Doctor there named Raymond Basri, you can Google that and he will come up. He does alot if not most medicals in the north Jersey area. There is a train from the city that takes you straight into the heart of Morristown, then a 3-5 min car ride to the airport if you do not want to drive there yourself.
