You may want to call Lake Aviation Center, http://www.lakeaviationcenter.com/, and ask Don Thibodeau, their A&P, if he'll make the drive over and put eyes on it for you. He maintains our Mooney and has done a good job. They're based at Camdenton but it's about a 1.5 hour drive to Bolivar.
