Need interior replaced and seats recovered , Live in Texas any recommendations

Have 1980 M20 K ,love its speed , yet a 1/10 interior  ,please recommend where to look for interior improvements.

Aero Comfort  is a good place for interiors.

new carpet kit from airtex. 
I repaired the interior plastics and painted them with SEM interior paint. 
had my upholsterer re do the seats. (Classic car guy) I supplied the burn tested leather.

Hector is the best, but not cheapest. But don’t under estimate the importance of comfort; you’ll regret it on every longer flight if you do!

Spend an hour and fly down from Dallas and look at Hector's operation. They know what they are doing and they know Mooneys. Park at the FBO and Hector is across the field. Do it once, do it right and don't look back.

If you go with Hectors interior...  it could look brand new when it’s done...

Contact Hector for the latest price list.  Hector Fernandez <hectorh@aerocomfort.com>  

There are many variables, such as sending in the interior as parts versus bringing the plane, and having them overhaul the interior in every way.  I think the range is 10-20 AMU's.

I had Hector do the interior of my 231 some years ago. He had good ideas, found leftovers from a Learjet job, combined them beautifully, and it looked like a million dollars when he was done. The old yellowed plastic interior panels were covered with pale ersatz leather, ditto. Perfect! And he couldn’t bear to send that crate of refurbed pieces back with the plastic covered glare shield, so that was redone with leather, too. To say I was thrilled would be an understatement. His shop’s attention to detail is incomparable. Aerocomfort is simply top-notch. Go with the best. You won’t regret it!

I am leaning with having hector do mine, but its a 1 in front of that 6 currently....

Really? I guess if you're upholstering all the plastic and also doing carpet?
