mkrakoff Posted January 12, 2021 Report Posted January 12, 2021 Hey all, I found this cooling ring cracked and have been looking through the parts manual and LASARs website to try and figure out where I might be able to find a replacement. Ijust haven't found it yet. Anyone have an idea of where I can find one of these? Thanks!!!
mkrakoff Posted January 12, 2021 Author Report Posted January 12, 2021 SOLVED thanks to user: Freemasm https://www.mcfarlaneaviation.com/products/category/vacuum-pump-cooling/
Greg Ellis Posted January 12, 2021 Report Posted January 12, 2021 Aircraft Spruce has those as well. You may want to compare prices and shipping costs although Spruce is usually proud of their shipping. 1
carusoam Posted January 12, 2021 Report Posted January 12, 2021 Sure that is plastic? Tough place for plastics to survive... Best regards, -a-
mkrakoff Posted January 13, 2021 Author Report Posted January 13, 2021 Yup. Definitely plastic. It’s wrapped around a vacuum pump for cooling apparently. 1

Looks like Spruce only sells the full kit (more $) and I can get the individual part directly via McFarlane. 1
