I lost a neighbor in a crash in his Beechcraft

My neighbor right across the runway died in a midair crash last Friday. Great pilot, wonderful guy, very sad.

Very sad indeed. I also knew/know all the people involved as friends. A real tragedy.

While I am saddened by the loss this is not, to me, a tragedy.  Life is dangerous.  Flying is inherently dangerous.  Formation flying more so.  Folks died doing what they love and were passionate in pursuing.  Beats dying in your bunker as far as I’m concerned.  Life is to be lived.  Carpe Diem.
