I have thunderstorms forcast for the entire 3 day weekend! Can't really complain I've been off and flying around for the last couple of weeks. Time to order supplies for an oil change.

Austin, Let me know when you find one..  That would be awesome if it's within an hour of here.   I know there are several in Alaska  (was there this summer).

I'm taking the kids in town to Nut Tree airport to Mustang Days. Every year they have had a good showing of P-51's.

At Nut Tree Airport. This event honors the WWII-era P-51 Mustang long-range fighter. Other vintage aircraft will be on display, along with vintage Mustang cars. Rides in a Twin Beech and Travelair open cockpit are available for purchase

I have three students this weekend, so no personal flying for me. Would love to go somewhere, but just spent a small fortune on what was suppose to be a oil change, then turned into replacing several other items. Yet another welcome to aircraft ownership!

This is the weekend my eldest son gets married.  So here we are in London Ontario (getting ready to go to the church)Smile about 2 Mooney hours from home.

And the Mooney is still at home.Frown

We drove for 6 hours because my radios are still not working properly after the GMA 340 install to replace the Narco CP 135 earlier this year.  And all four days of this trip (yesterday through to Monday) are forecast as severely clear in cool temperatures.

Oh well.......

Branson, Missouri to see the grandson.  Trees are starting to change colors.

Takeoff in Arkansas had a 80 degree, 15g17 knot crosswind.  Enroute at 8,000 ft had a 164-172K groundspeed.

Landed to find the ramp full of Lancairs.  They are having a Lancair convention in Branson this weekend.  So many reaaallllly pretty airplanes that are way out of my price range!!!
