Looking to try out a Mooney

New to forum. Thinking of purchasing a Plane in near future and Mooney is at top of list. Never flown one. Looking at Maybe a J, S (Eagle) or R (Ovation) model 20. Live in suburb north of Atlanta. Doesn’t seem to be any Mooney rentals around this area. Any suggestions on close by rentals to fly one of these to try out? Or anybody near by looking to sell and willing to demo?

Hello.  I'm based at Cherokee (CNI) with a J I'd be happy to let you check out.  I've actually got to get it up to DNN this month for annual.  Let me know.

There are only a few rental Mooneys around the world...

There is a recent thread around here... have you seen it?

 

Transition Training in a Mooney can be had by first finding the CFII with one...

Look for the list on MooneyFlyer....

I may head up there later next week weather permitting if you're available.  Working from home like many others right now so I have some flexibility in that regard.

What you are looking to do is called a PM...(private message)

It starts by clicking on JW’s big J... then find the message button...

If I did things correctly... I started a PM and invited you both... 

Just seeing if I still have the talent to start a conversation...
