rudder pedal adjustment

Where do you typically like your rudder pedal angle? We installed extensions and they sit quite vertical. So much in fact all 3 of us pilots have managed to get swervy on landing due to inadvertantly using the brake on landing. They can be adjusted.  But how far? what angle?

Me too. I've nearly departed the runway a couple of times due to this.

My 3" extensions sit straight-up and I have absolutely no braking problems. If it weren't for the extensions I probably wouldn't be flying a Mooney.

I've often wondered if they're worth the trouble... My Dad is 5'5" formerly 5'6" and has over 2000hrs in Mooneys. He's never mentioned a problem with the stock arrangement...and he's not proportioned like a super model either. His actual inseam is probably around 28"ish...  He flys with the seat full forward or 1 notch back...that may change if he "fills out" a bit more...

I'd like the 1.5" ones just for comfort. I do fine with the stock, but I feel the little extra would make it really comfy.

It appears the factory 3" pedal extension kit geometry makes the pedals stand up verticasl even with the adjustment all the way down
