carusoam Posted November 5, 2018 Report Posted November 5, 2018 We have an EI Guy around here... @oregon87 This sends a message to that guy. For more about the shunt use the search function. Expect to find it attached to the inside firewall... a pair of large diameter wires come and go to it... and a small pair of wires go to the ship’s ammeter gauge... Best regards, -a-
HRM Posted November 5, 2018 Report Posted November 5, 2018 When I did my MVP-50 I found the shunt on the firewall upper right (co-pilot) side. S/N 848.

I just used the factory one.
