N231SM Posted March 7, 2018 Report Posted March 7, 2018 Hello, There are lots of sources for placards after interior refurb. There is a difference. Some of mine were little more than a Dyno label. Others were more substantial- probably 1/64th and made of metal, like the one on the inside of the rear baggage that instructs passengers how to dive head first out of the plane. Anyone? Tks Quote
CaptRJM Posted March 7, 2018 Report Posted March 7, 2018 Contact Aero Comfort. They have complete sets of interior placards for around $100. They are not cheap plastic film like many vendors. Theirs are on thin aluminum like factory placards. Quote
INA201 Posted March 8, 2018 Report Posted March 8, 2018 I've heard folks post that trophy/awards shops engrave on metal stickers. That is an idea I plan on pursuing at some point. Quote
Vance Harral Posted March 8, 2018 Report Posted March 8, 2018 I've replaced several placards on our airplane, and had really good results from http://www.engravers.net Their 0.020 black Lexan with silver text is an excellent match for the factory original placards. I believe the originals were metal, but the Lexan looks the same, and IMO holds up better over time as it's more resistant to dings and bends. Quote
