  1. Yes. I am riding the breaks. Anyone think it is possible to somehow reverse the brackets so that the angle is different? It seemed to me that there was only one way. I have to use toes to work the bottoms as rudders then move up to catch the breaks. Not possible to have enitre foot on rudders now after the change. I have the 3" extensions. If you do, then you get braking action on takeoff. Anyone else.??? If I could lower the braking action, that would work. If you trop a plumb line from the top of the rudder, the bottoms are agood 1.5" forward of that point. I am on a trip. Otherwise I would just yank them. Yes- it says "M" not "W". Thanks guys. Jim
  2. Just received rudder extension pedals and installed them. They are shaped such that I am waaayyy too heavy on brakes. I had to insert toes of my shoes into center of extension to operate from center of pedal instead of using entire pedal. Anyone else have these? Thanks.
  3. Does anyone have input on new front windscreen? I need a new one installed. Any tips are appreciated are appreciated if I need to do it myself. Thanks Jim
  4. These things are $176 to $240- for an air filter. Anyone have any cross references here? I called Bracket. They re not in the game. Below are a bunch of numbers. https://www.aircraftspruce.com/pages/ap/cessna_airfilters/pleatpaperfilter.php $176.00 P13-6287 is the Mooney #. 125685-004 FILTER AIR SKU: 125685-004 This product has been replaced by AM108365FP Please call for availablity
  5. I have a leaking 12v low press solenoid valve. It is a 633862-2. Also called a primer valve. I have found on this site that they can be expensive and hard to get. Very frustrating. After waiting many months for engine rebuild, we fired up the engine and fuel gushed form this valve. Thanks
  6. Hello all, I finally figured out it is a shunt for the prop de-ice ammeter. There should be a fuse on each wire going to the meter. The connector looks like the connector that goes to the prop de-ice timer. So, again.........what a fantastic knowledge base. Jim
  7. OK. A shunt. Is that what I am looking for in the wiring diagram? Small one- # 18 probably. I have a wire coming off one of the boots that looks like it should go somewhere. Tks
  8. Hello all. This is located far right firewall under the glare shield behind the fuse column. I am wondering what this coil like part is. There are 2 rubber boots. Attached to one is a wire putting out .25v all the tiime from one of those boots, unaffected by master/avionics. There is a large connector as well. I have the diagram if someone could tell me what this might be. Also, does anyone have a list of all the likely in line fuses under pass and pilot dash? I am labeling them as fast as I can isolate them. There are 5 under the pass g-shield. Tks
  9. Hi John, Can you give me the specifics on the backup AI? Thanks
  10. OK guys Sorry to be so brief. Here is a pic I am doing some interior work and have all the interior panels off. This white ice make looking tubing is obviously distinct in it's appearance that it is whiter. The tubing comes from the inst panel along the RIGHT side and then down below under the rear seat via a factory looking gourmet. The routing is stupid because it is on the occupant side of the aircraft 4130. Identifying it could mean I can re-rout it so the side panel does not bulge. Sorry to be so brief. I am on all out crunch to get interior done for a lot of reasons. I am relatively new. Doing a MSN get together this year for OSH?
  11. Thanks everyone. Brown is sending samples.
  12. There is white tubing, approx 3/4" inch running along starboard side behind panels. Looks like large ice maker hose. It is on the wrong side of the tubing. Any ideas? thanks
