Wildhorsesracing Posted October 6, 2017 Report Posted October 6, 2017 I replaced my tired old stock starter on my '62 C with a new B&C and can simply say WOW! I think I can taxi with the starter! Quote

If you do the B & C starter and a new Concorde, you might be able to take-off on DC volts alone. 2 1 1 Quote
StinkBug Posted October 15, 2017 Report Posted October 15, 2017 I recently installed one of the little flyweight Sky-tec starters and the first time I turned the key I scared myself. It spins the prop faster than the engine idles it seems! The 12lb weight savings was nice too. Quote
bradp Posted October 15, 2017 Report Posted October 15, 2017 I just left my battery on a trickle charger for the first time and turned my Sky Tec starter and wow I felt like I could have taken off on the starter. Quote
DXB Posted October 15, 2017 Report Posted October 15, 2017 Ha just got my B&C in the mail - it's going in at annual. Combined with install of a Reiff TurboXP heater at the same time, I'm hoping painful winter starts will be a thing of the past. Quote
