Frank Rizzo Posted August 2, 2017 Report Posted August 2, 2017 Does anyone know off hand if other wings will bolt directly on to a 1961 B fuselage? Quote
carusoam Posted August 3, 2017 Report Posted August 3, 2017 I believe so... But would check with your favorite mechanic that would be doing the work first... Some things may be different from wing tips, to airlerons to flap systems. Rudder length and throw may be different on the different fuselages... different fuel filler parts. And other small details. What is in your plan? The MSC in NJ swaps out wings every now and then. They may be a great resource for you... PP thoughts that come to mind. Not a mechanic at all... Where are you at? Frank Rizzo Posted August 3, 2017 Author Report Posted August 3, 2017 I am in the FortWorth TX area. I know an "F" wing would be a stretch but it would be nice to have more fuel. FR Quote
Seth Posted August 4, 2017 Report Posted August 4, 2017 Remember the F wing in 1967 had the twisted / dropped leading edge. No wing tip modifications have been created or are available for the wing of a 67 F. -Seth Quote
