These aren't turbo compound boosted engines making over 1HP per cubic inch.  They have time limits for a reason.

My question was about engine failure statistics.  I am well aware of the differences between our engines and round engines.  I have ...a few hours.

However, I don't think it's far fetched to question longevity issues for engines operated at high power settings vs lower power settings.  Yes, TBO is established at high power settings, but for longevity beyond TBO...I'd like to see some statistics.

200hp on a 360 CU motor isn't much power especially by the time it has a chance to get hot it's already reducing power due to DA. The difference between 2400-2700rpm is very little the engine does not care. Now I care about getting some altitude under my rear end as quickly as possible. Thanks good stuff.
