Marauder Posted July 15, 2016 Report Posted July 15, 2016 I knew I should never have let Big Bertha in the plane!! All joking aside (okay, maybe a little joking on my dilemma). My seats are in the shop to be re-upholstered. The shop found both seat pans cracked. What are my options? Since we are talking seats. If I wanted to change out these belts, anyone have an idea who can sell replacements for them? Sneak peak of the final product. Back seats are finished. 5 Quote
bradp Posted July 16, 2016 Report Posted July 16, 2016 They look great Chris! Who's doing your interior work? There are a few articles from ABS about seat frame repair that can point you towards some options. I'll see if I can find the link. Brad 1 Quote

I was hoping to catch up with Bruce Jaeger this week on the Spatial Interior offering he has (my other thread). That will need to wait until the Fall. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk Quote

carusoam Posted July 16, 2016 Report Posted July 16, 2016 I had a spare Recaro seat once. Considered using it in the C.... To make it fit would require moving the yoke about 6 inches to the right and the ceiling about four inches taller. It weighed twice what a Mooney seat does. Not sure what the value of side bolsters in an airplane would be. They do take up a lot of space... I really like the space for the four point harness. Best regards, -a- Quote
