The mags were rebuilt in Feb 2015 with 80 Hr on them, also with the sell is 8 plugs, 5 certified fire sleved hoses, and a vacuum pump. 3200.00 ship Con US, you can call me at fife tree o two 0 eighht 6 one o fife or Bret 496 (at) gm1l.comm sorry for the contact coding, trying to outsmart those computer things. Thanks, Bret. Quote
Bret Posted January 1, 2016 Author Report Posted January 1, 2016 not new to the airplane forum thing but I do understand the skepticism of new folks trying to sell stuff on these forums, you can check out my 6 year history over at vansairforce.net username bret Thanks. Quote
N201MKTurbo Posted January 1, 2016 Report Posted January 1, 2016 Why spend the money for an EFI system when you have a perfectly good fuel injection system? I don't see where there is any advantage in an aircraft application. Quote
Bret Posted January 1, 2016 Author Report Posted January 1, 2016 The EFII system is becoming very popular with the experimental crowd, 10% increase in HP at altitude, 1 to 1.5 GPH fuel savings, no hot restart issues, idle down to 500 RPM, very smooth engine, it is similar to automotive FI 40 psi and fully atomized injection in intake tube. Using iridium auto spark plugs, able to run auto fuel with no vapor lock worries, recirculating the fuel to tank in a loop with a PSI regulator. here is a bird like I am building except a nose wheel model. http://www.flyefii.com/EFII_intro.htm Quote
flyntgr1 Posted January 1, 2016 Report Posted January 1, 2016 You mentioned the hour of the Mags, but how about the injection system? Quote
carusoam Posted January 1, 2016 Report Posted January 1, 2016 Welcome aboard Bret. Thanks for sharing the details on the differences between factory built and the more modern brethren. Good luck with the sale of your Mooney parts. Best regards, -a- Quote
