does anyone know the proper way to adjust gear doors for proper closure..snug against wing skin...i have about 3/8 in gap...dont ever remember seeing that much gap before.....thanks

It is a combination of gear rigging and adjusting the mounting of the gear doors. If they are even just readjust the up stop.

Make sure the gear is rigged properly to go all the way up.  After that it's down to adjusting the double rod ends on the upper door and the washer stacking under the bolts on the lower.
