Cyril Gibb Posted November 2, 2015 Report Posted November 2, 2015 Thinking of a couple of days of French immersion. Any recommendations or warnings for FBOs at Quebec/ Lesage (CYQB) ? Or maybe we should just head to Neuville (CNV9) ? Quote
Ned Gravel Posted November 2, 2015 Report Posted November 2, 2015 Cyril: CYQB is a good airport, but you may find it a little expensive. Don't understand why you would want to go to Neuville. No approaches so you will be stuck flying VFR. Ned Gravel Lucky steward of C-FSWR, a '65 E model at Rockcliffe, Ontario, (CYRO) Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk Quote
Cyril Gibb Posted November 2, 2015 Author Report Posted November 2, 2015 Unfortunately, my IFR training is going way beyond what I thought I'd need to get it done, so VFR it is. Quote
yvesg Posted November 2, 2015 Report Posted November 2, 2015 (edited) How long do you stay in Quebec city? The FBO there will charge you. Call them in advance to get what their rates are. Have not been there for years. Most area pilots prefer going to Neuville. When are you going? There is a good chance I will fly to Drummondville (south east of Trois Rivieres) this coming Saturday. Cyril Gibb Posted November 3, 2015 Author Report Posted November 3, 2015 Yves, We just changed our plans. Going to Montreal for a couple of days tomorrow morning (St. Hubert). Need to be back to winterize the cottage this weekend and get ready for cross-country ski season. Nice being retired. Flexibility plus. Quote
